Nekeisia was one (#23) of the 2022 Women We Admire's Top 50 Women Leaders of Maryland. This honor celebrated her outstanding contributions to the nonprofit sector and her dedication to empowering future generations of women.

In October 2023, Nekeisia was featured on WJZ-CBS NEWS Baltimore, where she was interviewed by Chanda Brigance for the Chanda Cares segment. During the interview, Nekeisia shared insights into her foundational principles in leadership, highlighting her positive influences and commitment to making a positive impact.

Nekeisia served as a speaker on the Leadership and Empowerment panel at Coppin State University's Inaugural Women's History Month 2024 Faces of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Forum. Her participation underscored her leadership and advocacy in breaking down barriers and cultivating the skills needed to effectively thrive in leadership roles.
